These pieces come from the gentle details I notice around me — birds, botanicals, wagara elements, and simple sketches that become digital illustrations. Some are experiments, some are quiet moments, but all are steps in my ongoing creative practice.

Even small, ordinary things can bring a sense of comfort.

Willie Wagtails are tiny birds, but they have such big personalities.

I often see them during my walks here in Western Australia.

Even though they’re small, they’re surprisingly brave—they chase away much bigger birds like ravens and magpies without fear.

They also have two very different calls: one soft and peaceful, and the other almost angry. I love this contrast. Such a small bird, but full of character.
